News on Tilly-Wood Map (Streets for All)

During March and April this year we collected your comments on the initial concept design for the area. The concept design for the Tilly-Wood Street Design Project could strengthen the connection between Tillydrone and Woodside by:

· Reducing traffic volume and speed along Hayton Road and Don Street;

· Improving and widening pavements;

· Providing better crossings; and

· Enhancing public space through greenery and play.

Throughout this consultation period we engaged with over 1,200 people through events, meetings and our project website. 602 people visited the website and we received 425 completed feedback forms. This feedback following the last nine months of engagement has helped refine the concept design which will be showcased at our upcoming public event on the 19th June.

On Wednesday 19 June, at St George’s Church in Tillydrone, the public are invited to have the opportunity to:
